The sumbox concept was born from the inspiration of young people wanting to succeed in education. To realise this success sumbox commissioned artists and designers to create exciting visual displays to aid the learning process.

After some success in the public sector, it was clear that students and parents wanted to continue learning while not at school. sumbox launched its domestic range of educational materials, which includes a variety of revision posters suitable for students of all ages and abilities.

The company grew from strength to strength as news and distribution spread across the UK. Now with a successful range of educational posters, amongst other products, sumbox is an established name in the market.

The National Curriculum

Where appropriate, our educational posters and products are aligned with the National Curriculum and the nationally recognised Key Stages. The National Curriculum is divided into four Key Stages that children are taken through during their school life. To make these Key Stages easier to understand, we have created the below table which displays the Key Stage along with the Age and School Year the child will be enrolled in.

Key Stage 1	Ages 5 - 7	Years 1 and 2
Key Stage 2	Ages 7 - 11	Years 3, 4, 5 and 6
Key Stage 3	Ages 11 - 14	Years 7, 8 and 9
Key Stage 4	Ages 14 - 16	Years 10 and 11
